 Dear Students, Staff, and Families:

As we embrace this season of thankfulness, I want to take a moment to sincerely express my gratitude for your commitment to the District. I am truly appreciative of the passion I witness in our schools each and every day. Wishing you all a wonderful Thanksgiving! May you enjoy precious moments with family and friends – you truly deserve it!

Parent Teacher Conferences

A reminder that there will be no school for students on December 11th. All schools are holding Parent-Teacher conferences. Please keep an eye out for communication from your building administrators for hours and sign-ups. This is a great opportunity to connect and work together to support your student’s success.

Things to Do

If you are looking for enrichment opportunities for your students, OCYL is offering some great programs this winter. Have a look at the 2025 Winter Programs.

If you find yourself out shopping, Cumberland Public Safety is holding a Toy Drive. They have partnered with the Cumberland Happy Basket programs to keep gifts in town.

On December 7th, The Cumberland Hill PTO is hosting a Vendor Fair from 11:00 AM- 3:00 PM at J.J. McLaughlin Cumberland Hill School on Manville Hill Rd. This is a great opportunity to shop locally.

Keep your eyes and ears peeled, Cumberland High School Band & Chorus will be making appearances through the month of December at Stop & Shop and Dave’s Market. If you don’t catch them there you can see them in the High School Auditorium at their Winter Concert scheduled for December 19th at 6:00 PM.
