School Lunch
It’s time to complete an application to see if your child qualifies to receive free or reduced-price meals at school.
- You only need to complete one application per household if all of your children attend the same school district
- All information is confidential and is not shared with anyone outside of the staff member(s) who need to know this information to provide your child(ren) with free or reduced-price meals
- Use the QR code to see if your child’s school is accepting electronic meal benefit applications, OR complete and return a paper application to your child’s school
- If you’re unsure how to complete the form, check out the “Application How-To Video” that can be accessed on the lower central part of the page after you scan the QR code.
Flu Clinic
Mark your calendar for one of our FREE Community Flu Clinics.
The first is on Wednesday, October 7th, from 4:00-7:30 PM in the Cumberland High School Cafeteria.
The second, on Thursday, October 15th, from 4:00-7:30 PM at Joseph L. McCourt Middle School Cafeteria.
The third and final is on Tuesday, October 20th, from 4:00-7:30 PM in the Cumberland High School Cafeteria.
CHS will also have an opportunity for Staff and Students only to receive a flu vaccine on Tuesday, October 27th, from 8:00-10:30 AM.

- Register online at schoolflu.com to schedule an appointment.
- Online registration is strongly recommended to ensure enough vaccines are available for all who attend this event.
- Walk-ins will be limited on a first-come, first-served basis when resources are available.
- Insurance information will be collected; however, people without insurance may also get vaccinated.
- The vaccine is FREE with no out-of-pocket costs for anyone.

School Committee Update
There is a regularly scheduled School Committee meeting on Thursday, September 24th. Redistricting and Start and End Times will not be on the agenda for this meeting. The committee has scheduled a Special Meeting for Thursday, October 1st, solely for a discussion of the above. To receive school committee agendas as they are posted, please complete this form.
