  • Fall Sports Update

The fall sports season is up and running with great success. We had 446 student athletes register to compete in the 10 fall sports that are offered at Cumberland High School and 245 Middle School student athletes register for the 12 programs offered at McCourt and North Cumberland Middle Schools.

The Football team in early August once again volunteered and participated in Adoption Rhode Island’s Duffle Bag Dash. Senior Football Captain Patrick Conserve was Channel 12’s  NIROPE hometown hero for the week of 9/19. The Boys Cross Country Teams as well as Volleyball, Football squads are off to undefeated starts.  The Girls Cross Country team made history this past week, staying undefeated and recording its 100th consecutive dual meet victory!

On the athletic horizon, Spirit Week is coming up, culminating on Friday October 14 with Varsity Girls Soccer vs. East Greenwich at 4:00pm and the Homecoming Football game vs. Cranston West at 7:30pm

I hope everyone has a great school year.
